DIY Headband

Looking for an easy and inexpensive way to look super cute? One of our most recent obsessions has been Lauren Conrad’s YouTube channel (youtube.com/LaurenConrad) on which she has a series called Lauren’s “Crafty Creations”. One of her most recent “Crafty Creations” has been DIY headbands, which you can learn to make today!

1) A pair of scissors

2) A needle

3) Elastic and thread

4) Trim or ribbon

First, you’ll want to take your trim and wrap it around your head to size. Remember to leave a couple inches in the back for the elastic. If your trim doesn’t have any stretch, make sure to measure it correctly so that it sits properly on your head.

Next, take your elastic and cut it to the appropriate size.

Now, thread your needle and sew one end of the elastic to one end of your trim. Do the same with the other ends.

… Et voila! You’re done! You now have your very own, super chic and unique headband.

Pair your new hair accessory with big, Bohemian waves to complete the look (TIP: to achieve effortless waves, wrap your hair around the curling iron, rather than curling it inside the clip).
