DIY: Beaded Square Knot Wrap Bracelet
Summer is ending, but that doesn’t mean you should stop accessorizing with brightly colored bracelets! These beaded bracelets are cute and easy to make – whether you’re making it yourself or it’s for an arts & crafts class for children.
– Colourful, thin cording
– Beads (which the thin cording will fit through)
– Duct Tape
First, take a thin, brightly colored cord and wrap it around your wrist 4 times.
If needed, you can secure the string to a table using tape. Start stringing the beads onto the two middle strings with approximately 20 beads on each.
Move one bead up to the top, and make a square knot. To make a square knot, place the right string at an angle (in the form of a triangle), on top of the middle strings and underneath the left-most string. Take the left-most string and put it underneath the two middle strings and through the triangle on the right. Then, pull the two strings as if you were tying your shoelaces.
Attach a closure/clasp to both ends, and cut off the excess string.
That’s all! Enjoy your cheery wrap bracelets! (via missglamorazzi)
