Vancouver Eco-Fashion Week is here!
“we’ve ditched the hippie stigmas and sartorial visions of sustainability and fashion, left, right, and centre stage. So if you’re looking for granola and hemp, you’ll have to check the snack bar.”

The City of Vancouver has built a strong reputation on its drive to be a global leader in environmentally friendly practices. It has done this while also maintaining a chic and modern vibe. Our city is well recognized for its green spaces, hip bikes and locally sourced five-star eateries. One of the many events unique to Vancouver that is coming up is Eco-Fashion Week, established by Myriam Laroche, who has drawn attention to the need for sustainable practices in such a massive industry.
Eco-Fashion Week is on its 6th season and occurs two times a year for the duration of three days. During this time there are a series of shows displaying reputable designers who embrace similar sustainable visions. On top of the designer shows, there are also a variety of speaker seminars and industry panels all of which provide valuable knowledge on the rapidly growing eco-fashion industry.
The shows include both international and local designers, including Vancouver’s very own Evan Ducharme, who we will be seeing on April 23rd at 8pm. Its focus on both local and global designers comes to show that eco-standards in fashion are becoming increasingly important everywhere.
Eco-Fashion Week runs through April 21-24, appropriately just after Earth Day, and is located at Vancouver’s Robson Square. It is surely going to be an awesome time, full of inspiring people so make sure you get a chance to be a part of this event! Definitely dress to impress, hopefully we will spot some people sporting Charles&Grace jewelry!
Hope to see you there,
The Charles&Grace Team
